GiverImpact is a commercial crowdfunding platform that allows eligible users to create campaigns and receive financial support for personal causes, projects, medical needs, emergencies, events, and other permitted purposes.

GiverImpact is not a charity or non-profit organization.

You may create a truthful and lawful campaign within a category supported by GiverImpact, including Medical & Healing, Education, Animals & Pets, Community, Family, Personal, Funerals, Business, Creative, Religious, Sports, Volunteer, and other permitted categories.

Campaigns involving fraud, illegal activity, weapons, drugs, adult services, extremist content, hate speech, money laundering, financial scams, copyright infringement, or any activity that violates applicable law are prohibited.

Open the campaign you want to support, select Donate Now, enter your donation amount and the requested payment information, then review and confirm your payment.

The payment methods and currencies available to you may depend on your location, the campaign, and the payment providers currently supported by GiverImpact.

Yes. If the anonymous option is available during checkout, you can choose it before completing your donation. Your name will not be shown publicly on the campaign page.

GiverImpact and the payment provider may still retain the information required to process the payment, prevent fraud, handle support requests, and comply with applicable requirements.

Donations are processed through the payment options available on GiverImpact, such as card or PayPal services. Payment providers apply their own security checks and terms.

Never send money outside the payment methods displayed on the official GiverImpact campaign payment page, and report any campaign or message that appears suspicious.

A successful donation normally appears after the payment provider confirms the transaction. Some payments may take longer when they are pending, under review, or awaiting final confirmation.

If your payment was completed but does not appear, contact support and include the campaign link, payment date, amount, and transaction reference.

The donation amount is credited to the campaign balance. Applicable GiverImpact platform fees and any payment, transfer, currency-conversion, or third-party provider charges may be deducted when funds are processed or withdrawn.

Any optional tip for GiverImpact is separate from the campaign donation. The applicable fee and estimated amount to be received are shown during the relevant payment or withdrawal process.

Creating a campaign is free. A platform fee is charged when campaign funds are withdrawn, and the rate depends on the withdrawal amount.

The current fee tiers are:

  • From 1 to under 500: 30%
  • From 500 to under 1,000: 25%
  • From 1,000 to under 2,000: 20%
  • From 2,000 to under 5,000: 15%
  • 5,000 or more: 5%

Additional payment-provider, bank-transfer, or currency-conversion charges may apply. The final fee and estimated net amount are displayed before the withdrawal request is submitted.

No. A tip to GiverImpact is optional and separate from your donation to the campaign.

You may change or remove the tip before confirming payment. Your bank, card issuer, PayPal, or another payment provider may separately apply processing, conversion, or international charges.

Eligible organizers can open the Withdraw section in their account, choose an available payout method, enter the required account details, select an amount, review the fees and estimated net amount, and submit the request.

Submitting a withdrawal request does not guarantee immediate approval or payment. The request remains subject to balance availability, review, verification, refunds, disputes, risk checks, and payment-provider requirements.

GiverImpact may offer PayPal and bank transfer withdrawals. The methods, receiving currencies, bank fields, and transfer types available depend on the organizer’s location, account details, and current provider availability.

The payout account must belong to the organizer or another person or organization authorized to receive the campaign funds. Additional proof of ownership or authorization may be requested.

A withdrawal may take between 2 and 9 days or more. Processing time depends on identity and compliance checks, available funds, the selected payout method, clearing periods, refunds, disputes, risk review, banks, PayPal, and other payment providers.

The estimated period is not guaranteed. A request that requires additional information or verification may take longer.

A withdrawal may be pending or delayed while GiverImpact reviews the campaign, account, available balance, payout details, identity documents, source or intended use of funds, refunds, disputes, or possible fraud and compliance risks.

A request may be rejected when information is missing or inconsistent, verification is incomplete, the PayPal or bank details cannot receive the payment, funds are unavailable, or the request does not meet platform or provider requirements. Check the admin note shown with the withdrawal request before submitting again.

Identity verification helps GiverImpact confirm account and payout ownership, protect campaign funds, prevent fraud and impersonation, and meet legal, risk, compliance, and payment-provider requirements.

Verification is not automatically requested from every user. When GiverImpact requests it, the affected withdrawal may remain restricted until the review is completed and approved.

GiverImpact may request verification before approving a withdrawal, when account or payout information does not match, when a campaign or transaction requires additional review, after a report or dispute, or when legal, fraud, sanctions, risk, or payment-provider checks require it.

The request will appear in the user account. Users cannot begin the KYC process unless GiverImpact has requested verification for their account.

You may be asked to provide a valid passport, national identity card, or driving licence; a clear selfie; and a recent document confirming your residential address.

The name, date of birth, address, document number, photograph, and expiry details must be clear where applicable. Additional documents may be requested to confirm campaign purpose, beneficiary authorization, bank or PayPal ownership, or use of funds.

Submitted documents are used to review identity, address, account ownership, and relevant compliance or risk information. The review may be approved, rejected, or returned with a request for more information.

KYC files are not displayed publicly on campaign pages. Access is limited to authorized review purposes, and the documents are handled according to GiverImpact’s Privacy Policy and applicable requirements.

Donations are generally final. A donor may submit a voluntary refund request within five days after completing the donation.

Submitting a request does not guarantee approval. The decision may depend on the reason, available evidence, whether the funds remain available or have been withdrawn, payment-provider rules, and applicable law. This does not limit any rights independently available through a bank, card issuer, PayPal, another provider, or applicable law.

Use the Report Campaign option on the campaign page and provide a clear reason and accurate details. Include relevant evidence when available, but do not submit sensitive personal information that is not necessary for the report.

Reports should be made in good faith. False, abusive, repetitive, or retaliatory reports may be disregarded and may result in action against the reporting account.

The Trust & Safety team may review the campaign, account activity, transactions, supporting information, and any response requested from the organizer. A report does not automatically prove wrongdoing or guarantee that a campaign will be removed.

Depending on the findings, GiverImpact may take no action, request more information, correct or restrict content, pause donations or withdrawals, issue refunds where appropriate, suspend an account, remove a campaign, or report unlawful activity to the relevant provider or authority when required.
